The Build Story
The Maserati GranTurismo was a bold early project for Mat — an Italian grand tourer powered by a Ferrari-built 4.7L naturally aspirated V8. The car is renowned for one of the best exhaust notes of any production car, making it an exciting salvage find.
Mat bought a damaged example and documented the full rebuild. The GranTurismo's blend of Italian styling, Ferrari power and grand touring comfort made it a standout project in the early HWBT catalogue.
