The Build Story
The Audi S3 8V is one of the best all-round performance cars on the market — 310 hp from the 2.0 TFSI turbo, Quattro all-wheel drive, and a compact saloon body. Mat picked up a wrecked example from salvage and documented the restoration.
The S3 platform shares its EA888 engine with the Golf R and sits on the MQB architecture, making parts relatively accessible for a rebuild. The finished car delivered rapid, usable performance in all conditions.
