The Build Story
The Ford Mustang GT brought a taste of American muscle to Mat's mostly European collection. The 5.0L Coyote V8 producing 460 hp with a classic rear-wheel-drive layout made it a proper driver's car — loud, lairy and completely different to anything else in the garage.
Mat bought a damaged Mustang GT from salvage and documented the full rebuild. The car's relatively simple mechanical layout and readily available parts made it a satisfying project with a big payoff — 460 hp of naturally aspirated V8 on tap.
