Mat's Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 rebuild began when his insurance company refused to cover the damage. Rather than accept a write-off, he chose to rebuild it himself — discovering extensive frame damage to both front and rear chassis.
The team sourced a secondhand chassis and performed meticulous aluminium welding, discovering that even Lamborghini's own factory welds weren't perfect. Upgraded exhaust manifolds were fitted for improved performance, along with new front suspension, brakes and steering rack. The wiring reconnection alone required precision work to ensure proper reassembly of the complex V10 systems.
