The Build Story
Mat Armstrong bought Adam LZ's wrecked Porsche 911 GT3 blind at a US auction and flew to Florida to take on the ultimate challenge: rebuild it in 24 hours. The 992 GT3 had been totalled, but the 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six and chassis were salvageable.
The 24-hour rebuild became one of Mat's most watched series — documenting every step from arrival to finished car. After completion, Mat received clearance from Porsche and drove the car back to the road where it had originally crashed to reconnect with Adam LZ.
