The Build Story
Mat Armstrong purchased a completely wrecked Lamborghini Urus as a surprise gift for his girlfriend. He documented the extensive rebuild process on his YouTube channel. The rebuild involved significant damage: damaged inlet manifold with a gaping hole, broken AC compressor, tensioner issues, and other engine components.
Shortly after completing the rebuild and giving the car to his girlfriend, the Urus experienced problems — check engine light, smoke from a water pump failure. Mat implemented a cost-effective fix rather than replacing the entire pump, disconnecting the vacuum and using bolts to trick the car's diagnostics.
