The Build Story
Mat Armstrong purchased a wrecked Nissan GTR at auction and attempted to fully rebuild it within 24 hours. The car had a transmission fault, flat battery, spongy brakes, and ABS/traction control issues. A simple battery swap miraculously resolved the transmission fault.
After rebuilding and modifying the GTR to be a 10-second car, Mat encountered a gearbox issue — a common problem with GTRs. Rather than paying the typical £30,000 for a replacement gearbox, he found a more cost-effective solution to repair it.
