The Build Story
After successfully rebuilding Adam LZ's totalled 992 GT3 in Florida, Mat purchased a second wrecked 992 GT3 — this time from Copart in the UK and even cheaper than the American car. He set himself the challenge of rebuilding it within 24 hours.
Having learned from the first GT3 rebuild, Mat approached the second build with more confidence and experience. The 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six producing 510 hp is one of the greatest engines Porsche has ever made, and getting it back on the road was the ultimate goal.
